Our peels correct a variety of skin conditions, and with little to no down time, are very popular as a quick and effective “lunchtime” treatment in under 30 minutes. Your clinician will choose a peel suitable for your skin type and desired results.
The skin is thoroughly cleansed and prepared for the peel. The peel is then applied to the skin in layers, and left on for a short period of time. It is then neutralised, removed and appropriate serums and creams are applied to the skin.
Your skin may be slightly red post treatment (erythema), plump, dewy and luminous, so no need to take any time off work or limit social activities.
*Chemical skin peels for acne may experience micro-frosting on the day and light shedding on days 2 – 4, with results within 7 days.
Microdermabrasion is a gentle process that uses a diamond tip with vacuum suction to mechanically exfoliate layers of dead, dull and damaged skin cells, leaving your skin looking and feeling smoother, brighter and firmer.
The skin is cleansed, treated with one to two passes of dermabrasion over the entire face and neck, and followed with a soothing for 10 minutes. The mask is then removed and appropriate serums and creams are applied.
Your skin will look and feel smoother and brighter, and may be a little red immediately following the treatment, which shouldn’t last more than an hour.
Skin needling is a rejuvenation procedure correcting fine lines, large pores, lax skin, pigmentation and scar tissue. By creating controlled trauma in the skin, the body produces new collagen and elastin which assists in thickening and plumping the skin, and smoothing of textural irregularities the induction of new collagen. Skin-needling is a wonderful treatment for all skin types. There is little downtime and results are often seen after a few weeks.
The skin is thoroughly cleansed and steralised. Topical anaesthetic cream is applied to the area to minimise discomfort. Once removed, hyaluronic serum is applied so provide hydration and “slip” for the dermapen which uses micro-needles creating tiny puncture wounds on the skin, stimulating the body’s natural wound healing response. The breakdown of old, damaged cells and collagen is then replaced with new, strong collagen over the next 6-12 weeks.
Immediately after the treatment, the skin will appear red. This will settle over a 24 hour period however slight redness may last for up to 3-5 days post procedure. Some areas may become slightly dry and flaky as the damaged cells are expelled. Results are most visible after 5-8 weeks, where the skin will appear plump and rejuvenated due to the new collagen strengthening. For best results, a series of 3 to 6 treatments every 4 to 6 weeks is recommended.

Your clinician will thoroughly cleanse and dry your skin, then using a steralised blade at a 45 degree angle, carefully shave away the top layer of dead skin cells, and peach fuzz. This is followed with a soothing, hydrating mask for 10 minutes. Finishing serums and creams are chosen accordingly and applied.
